Associate Professor Anna Isaacs is an upper gastrointestinal, bariatric and general surgeon caring for patients across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers. She has a particular interest in conditions affecting the oesophagus and stomach, including reflux disease, hiatus hernia, achalasia and upper gastrointestinal cancer.Her practice brings together specialist surgical care, oesophageal function testing, and medical and surgical weight management. Dr Isaacs takes a thoughtful, individual approach to care, helping patients understand their condition and the treatment options available to them.Alongside her clinical work, she contributes to medical education, surgical training and research.
